After demonization, government has
not yet taken any positive and proper steps due to which economy is getting
poor and people are now scared about this economic and business condition in
India, hence everyone is trying to save themselves and they are on the
Blackfoot. There is a situation of quandary and insecurity among people.
It might be possible that the government
is having strong plans for a strengthened economy. One fact which I can see is
that the government is trying to control land business, which is definitely a
good step as these days everyone is investing in property business with the
hope of getting high returns, without doing any hard work.
The situation has become so worse
that everyone started talking about purchasing and selling properties. If
someone gets a good deal just once even, he is becoming a property dealer, he then
leaves his own profession because of this greed. Thus, skilled manpower availability
has reduced by 80%. Inflation is thus prevailing in the Indian economy. Value
of Indian currency has degraded and people are living this short-term luxury
life and hence they are now lazy to pursue their core work.
The government has not been successful
in the demonetization scheme because government did not understand the level of
corruption in the country. There were lots of loopholes because of which people
didn’t surrender their black money and hence the government couldn’t generate
desired revenue as it was expected by economists. There was an atmosphere of
insecurity among common people and businessman.
If a person had a net worth of Rs
100, then after the demonetization his net worth comes to Rs 70. One should
understand this in order to get a stable economic life. People lost 30% of the net worth. This
condition is common for everyone.
Now farmers want debt waiving, which
is not at all beneficial for the country.
Farmers should have sympathy towards small traders, who also lost their
30 % net worth. What if someone steals your 30% of land? The purchasing power
of people has decreased for now, but everything will be on track soon, so
patience must be kept by all people.
After demonetization government
should have given some relief to the people. Relief doesn’t mean debt and
interest waiving but
-
Increasing tenure of loan repayment
-
Relief of Moratorium of Principal Amount should be
there for 1 year and interest should be compulsory every month.
-
Amount of loan should be increased by 1.25% to 1.5%
because net worth has been decreased by 30%
If these positive steps would have
been taken by government, then Indian economy would not have been derailed.
