Democracy allows every eligible citizen of our country to vote his representative but 80% of those responsible citizens are not capable of differentiating between right & wrong. Due to this fact our country never got a good government. Those 80% people are foolish & elects the wrong representative every single time under the influence of small baits thrown to them. You may have observed that  most of the time ruling party never gets re-elected  & people elects the other party because the former party disappointed them & they hope that the new government will bring the change. This process is in continuation since our Independence(1947).Every political party after coming into power start misusing their power & neglecting the hopes & expectations of common people.
Sometimes good politicians also gets elected who really have the potential & desire to change this scenario & system but people start disliking them because those politicians takes harsh decisions & a common man has become used to of those attractive promises made by greedy politicians. Those 10%-20% responsible citizens who understands Economy, Development, Inflation, etc doesn’t prefer to vote & if they do their vote doesn’t makes any difference. Congress benefited Muslims even more than that what was required & by promoting reservation on caste basis they have made people dependent but the fact is that reservation was required only 10 years.
Similarly, BJP always do politics on Ram mandir, Ek desh ek kanoon, Goraksha, etc to divide the people & rule. When AAP party rose some very important issues then people supported the & elected them with a humongous majority because people were unhappy with BJP & Congress but AAP party also failed.
We all are responsible for this condition of India’s democracy. So, here are few suggestions  which can bring good changes in our country’s democracy.
    1.       Every ruling party should serve its nation honestly & sincerely without thinking about that whether they will get re-elected or not. Looking at the past, most of the times ruling party never gets re-elected.so it’s better to work in spite of thinking about their future.
    2.        Similarly, when second party comes into power they should also work for the benefit of their nation. They should keep in progress the good work done by the other party without bringing their rivalry in between because this good work will bring them back into power after 10 years.
    3.       MLA, MP should not be chosen according to Ticket system.MLA , MP should be individually elected through voting & those MLA, MP should choose PM & CM .Now, these CM & PM should choose only responsible cabinet ministers with clear intention to make their nation prosper & develop.
    4.         Similar to the Rajyasabha & Loksabha there must be two election mechanism. one similar to the current mechanism & other one only for Income Tax payers in which 1 vote of Income tax payer should be equivalent to 100 votes. Due to which transparency in the system will increase &  political parties will stop throwing baits to attract poor people. Hence, it will lead to good governance.
    5.       Democracy means that a person can possess only one benefit like govt. job, reservation, etc. Those  people who have a govt. job or took advantage of reservation should not be allowed to cast their vote. Government should also bring certain schemes like china’s One-child policy to control rapidly increasing population of or country.

Summary:- there are many other suggestions through which the present picture of Indian democracy can be changed.
